To restore the GRUB boot loader 2 in Ubuntu 12.04/11.10/11.04/10.10/11.04 / Linux Mint

If you have more than one OS on your computer and after the regular installation of the new system, the boot loader GRUB now start with the last set, but it is not your main system and you would like to restore GRUB is your main system. You can do this by installing a small graphical tool for restoring called Boot-Repair .

Set the Boot-Repair in Ubuntu 10.04/10.10/11.04/11.10/12.04

Open a terminal and run the following commands:
 sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yannubuntu/boot-repair  
 sudo apt-get update  
 sudo apt-get install -y boot-repair
