Vooya is a handy and reliable application designed to play uncompressed raw video data in YUV or RGB for scientific use. It supports various data arrangements such as planar or interleaved, various color subsamplings and arbitrary bit depths.
It features a difference viewing tool, which also calculates PSNR and MSE. A magnifier helps to examine data. Drawing annotation is also possible. Link multiple players together to better compare video files. Vooya has a lot of GUI features, is lightweight and fast. You can install Vooya Raw Player on Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin/Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric/Ubuntu 11.04/older Ubuntu Ver/Linux Mint Versions.
