In September 2011 Microsoft has publicly left the first results of the next operating system, Windows 8 , with the Developer Preview , which is an alpha version. For some time we started to talk about the timing of issue: when will we see the first beta of Windows 8? How much should we wait for the final version? The first question was finally answered!

The first beta of Windows 8 will be presented officially by Microsoft on February 29 in Barcelona. Will bear the name of Consumer Preview and have much more functionality than the Developer Preview, which, on the other hand, had as main objective to make an idea, to those who tried, the new operating system interface and its new aspects concerning the interaction.

The Consumer Preview, therefore, bring with it the Microsoft operating system in its entirety , or at least most of it. Indeed, on this point no one knows for sure, but generally the beta versions of software are very close to the final version as to the number of features presented. However, would like to clarify that the information reported herein have not been confirmed by official sources, so should be treated as a rumor .
